Group Tours
Family Adventure Tours (FATCO) has two categories of guided tours.
Group Tours
Group Tours are open to anyone who wishes to join in with folks they may not know. Group Tours are scheduled months in advance on our Facebook Page and Web Site on our Events page. Group Tours occur at least four times per year, twice in the fall and at least twice in the spring; however if there is a demand for a Group Tour at any time of the year, FATCO will accommodate the group. Weather, snowpack and spring run-off are some of the determining factors for most spring trips. Group Tours are the least expensive tours we offer. If you want to meet new families and make new friends with similar interests, the Spring and Fall Group Tours are just the ticket!
Logistical Support
FATCO now offers Logistical Support for your adventures! If you know where you’re going and don’t need a guide, we offer logistical support for your groups! Our chase vehicle and support trailer are available for hire to carry all your food, gas, clothing and gear! Just give us a call and we will help you arrange your support! We’ll even set up your tents and cook your meals if you wish!
Tour Fee Covers
Family Adventure Tours is a Guide service. We provide each client with proven routes to each day’s destination and emergency services if the need arises. Our routes have all been verified for accurate mileage, fuel and accommodation availability. Our fees cover our guide services, lunch on the trail each day, additional personnel, logistics, satellite emergency services, BLM/USFS permit fees, insurance and chase vehicle support . OUR FEES DO NOT INCLUDE BREAKFAST, DINNER, SNACKS, FUEL OR HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS.
Payment Policy
Group Tours:
FATCO requires that all Group Tour Attendees pay for their tour IN FULL at the time of their bookings. Spots will not be held without full payment being submitted. Group tours are on a “First Come, First Served” basis. Unless other arrangements have been made, all group tours will be considered full when the 20th vehicle has paid our Guide Service fee in full.
Cancellation Policy
Group Tours:
45 days notice is required to cancel your Group Tour and receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 45 and 30 days prior to the scheduled departure date will be refunded 50% of the Guide Service fee. No refunds will be made within 30 days of the scheduled tour departure date.
